Its been years since UK has seen a company like Google or Facebook that could set the markets on fire. The problem is that here are many budding genius entrepreneurs out there but they are starved of funds. They just don’t have the cash to travel that extra mile from project inception to project implementation.
The scheme seeks to remedy that by encouraging wealthy investors to invest good money in promising brilliant start ups. In lieu of that investment they are promised tax waivers up to 78%. For investors blessed with vision, encouraging budding entrepreneurs could be the road to proverbial success and riches beyond their wildest dreams.
For the government the scheme will hopefully transform the economy, and generate more capital to fuel industrial and entrepreneurial growth.
